[CLIENT UPDATE REQUIRED]
Ynfinite now supports logins on websites. Content, pages, and sections can now be secured and linked to a lead group. This means that the secured content will only appear when the user is logged in and belongs to the defined lead group. For this purpose, there are now these new form types (more information on what form types are follows below):

  • Register
  • Forgot
  • Change password
  • Profile form

Franchise

Every account in Ynfinite now has a partner ID. With this ID, you can link your account to other Ynfinite accounts. This makes it possible to share content between accounts. The owner is the only person who can edit their own shared content. Content and content types must be explicitly approved for sharing (under the publish button in the content) and the recipient can choose whether they want to review all new shared content first or accept everything automatically. Shared content appears in the linked content type with a blue background and information about which account the content originated from.

Social media

LinkedIn

  • Links have been updated to the current version. From now on, posts with text, single images, galleries, and videos that are not shares can also be created.
  • Only content admin rights are now required to select a page as writable.
  • It is now possible to write content on private profiles.

Tracking

[CLIENT UPDATE REQUIRED]
SEO tracking can now be enabled in the page settings. IDs/keys can be stored here to automatically connect the website to tracking/analysis tools. Currently supported:

  • Tracking (with events automatically generated by Ynfinite that can be turned on and off)
    • - Google Analytics
    • - Matomo (a subdomain must still be created and linked here)
  • Analysis
    • - Google Search Console
    • - Facebook Pixel
    • - Microsoft Uet
    • - Pinterest Pixel

Available events that can be tracked:

  • Forms
  • Videos (only via the client's yn-video function)
  • Page views
  • Page scrolls (up to which section is scrolled)
  • Email links
  • Phone links
  • Download links
  • General links

Speed

  • The data size when rendering web pages has been reduced by 70-90%. Data download took approximately 20% of the page load time.
  • Forms in Ynfinite have been completely overhauled (these are not the forms for the website, but everything where you fill in fields in Ynfinite, e.g. content). All forms now load much faster and are smoother to use. This is particularly noticeable when writing. In addition, the forms now know better when information is not saved or is incorrect. This allows improved status messages to be displayed in the fields.
  • All trees (e.g., categories) in Ynfinite have been reprogrammed and now support lazy loading, which means that only the visible categories are loaded and not the entire tree.

More consistent design

Almost all fields/views (e.g., tables and forms) in Ynfinite have been redesigned to make them more consistent and clearer.

  • Ynfinite now has completely new pop-ups, which are clearer and easier to use than the old dialogues for simple/small forms.
  • The section list has been revised. Sections that are "unpublished" are now displayed in the section list with a slight transparency.
  • The design of the file manager has been adjusted to make it compatible with the new pop-ups. In addition, minor adjustments have been made for clarity.
  • The categories are now displayed more uniformly and clearly in the content table
  • All trees (e.g. categories) now have a new design

revised and improved features

  • The loading animations in Ynfinite have been revised, which means that they are now better positioned and easier to understand. In addition, minor bugs have been fixed.
  • A small blue dot on fields now indicates whether the field has unsaved changes.
  • The sidebar navigation and icon navigation have been reprogrammed and the design has been standardized.
  • Website navigation has been moved to a new environment. To edit the navigation items, you must now click on "Edit Items" in the navigation. This is similar to the process for importers. Navigation now responds to content/pages, etc. If the content/pages are not published, deleted, or protected, the corresponding menu items are no longer displayed.
  • Forms (e.g., contact forms) now have a default configuration. This ensures that, for example, the lead is automatically saved. So that Ynfinite knows which default configuration makes sense, there are now form types such as Contact or Login. Thanks to these default forms, a few form settings could be removed.
  • To quickly edit sections, you can now click on the name of the section. In addition, the sections and fields that can be used in sections now have fewer visible fields. Fields that were not used often have been moved to the advanced settings, as is familiar from the content. These advanced settings can be configured independently of the settings in the content at the top right of the form.
  • Tables are now horizontally scrollable to allow more fields on smaller screens
  • Selected files in a file field now have a small X in the corner that can be used to quickly deselect the images.
  • Text counters in input fields such as SEO titles now display an arrow with recommendations for the length of the respective text, e.g., an SEO title should ideally contain between 55 and 65 characters.
  • Files that have been replaced via "Update File" are now highlighted after replacement and the image is replaced without reloading.

New features

  • There is now an "If-Expression" node in processes. This node has access to all data used in the process. An expression can now be stored there. If this expression is true, the "Yes" path is executed, otherwise the "No" path is executed. Example of an expression: content.data.general_plz === "50677". Based on the result of the query, the process then runs a different path.
  • Publish from / to now recreates the sitemap when the respective date is reached and also clears the cache.
  • Limit 0 in all filters now means that any number of data records are loaded without pagination. If the "Limit" field is completely empty, the default is 20. The maximum limit is 1000.
  • There is a new function in the file manager called "Delete all resized files". This function removes all generated files and also cleans up the "broken" files that currently exist in some folders. The function can be accessed via "Info" for the respective file.
  • In the account settings, there is a new field called "Technical contact". There you can enter an email address to which all technically relevant emails will be sent in the future (e.g. importer reports if no email address has been specified)
  • Accounts have a new field called "Company name for invoice." If this field is filled in, this name will be displayed on the invoice instead of the account name.
  • Unsplash now displays an improved message when no images were found.

Client

  • PHP 8.3 support

  • New image editor in the File Manager. Images can now be edited under "Crop Image." When uploading, the image is edited before uploading. If an existing image is edited, a copy of it is created.
  • Under Lead Manager (CRM), all requests sent via websites can now be viewed. This means that when a form is submitted, it creates an entry here.
  • Under Lead Manager (CRM) => Leads, you can now view all requests that the lead has sent for each lead.
  • In Forms => File Field - The options "Save upload file" and "Link file to lead" have been removed. These two functions are now always executed.

  • If, in pagination on the website, the __yPage is manually set to a value outside the permitted values, a 404 page is displayed. Example: There are 5 pages, manually set to 7 or -1
  • Each 404 page can now be assigned pages for which it is responsible. No page means "All." If a page has a specific 404 page, it will be displayed first. This means that, for example, a different 404 page can be displayed for the "Real Estate" detail page than for other pages
  • There is now a new button in the content edit form. When clicked, it switches between a new "simple" view and the old "advanced" view. In the new simple view, unimportant fields are hidden in the right-hand "Settings" column. The button setting is saved for each user
  • Spaces before or after the email address are now filtered out during login attempts

Once the add-on has been purchased, articles can be generated directly via AI. You specify a topic and how many outline points should be generated. An outline is then suggested, which you can customize. The article is then generated based on this outline. Each paragraph can then be expanded and rewritten, either manually or using AI. Once the article is confirmed, it is transferred to the article field, where it can be further edited.

SEO Matrix Pages: There is now a switch in the Pages that allows you to book SEO Matrix Pages. These pages behave similarly to detail pages, except that they contain a combination of content types and routes. All possible combinations are created from these routes. The more route fragments the page has, the more multiplications are created. All content belonging to the respective page structure can be found in the pages under _ynfinite.matrix. The accessors are from the route fragment configuration of the page. Links to subcontent are generated automatically and can be found in the respective content (if searched for via a filter) under links.details.{{matrix_page_alias}}. Sections in the matrix pages can be set so that they are only visible at certain depth levels of the matrix.

Update of the Rich Text Editor: The Rich Text Editor from Ynfinite has been updated to the latest version. It now offers many new features that can be accessed via the function keys in the editor toolbar. In addition, text copied into the editor is now automatically stripped of all formatting. Headings and other typo markings remain unchanged. However, all control commands are removed.

Category filters in sections/templates: Filter fields in sections and templates that contain a category filter can now also contain a comparison operator, just like normal field filters. This makes it possible, for example, to filter content that does not contain category X.

ETags

With the latest client update, we have added ETags, which significantly reduce cache errors and also significantly speed up loading times when the cache is still up to date.

How do ETags work?

ETags contain a "hash code" that is sent from the server to the user's browser. When entering the website, the browser checks whether its code is still the same code that the server sends back. If so, the page load time is significantly reduced because most of the data can be loaded directly from the browser cache. However, if this code is no longer the same, the browser deletes its cache, downloads the current version of the page from the server, and updates its ETag.

Improvements
